Whether your a new visitor to
Supercentex.com or a member who has
been with us for 10 plus years, you
know that for the 2010
baseball/softball season the only
place you can catch Central Texas
high school baseball/softball games
is right here. The 2010 Texas state
softball tournament will be no
different as Super Centex Sports
Network will be the official home of
championship softball as we carry
three of the best softball teams in
the Lone Star State this week on our
network.
This week is championship week as the Mart Lady
Panthers, West Lady Trojans, and Robinson
Rockettes keep living
the dream with semi-final matchups starting on
Thursday June 3rd. The 2010 season has been one to
remember as these talented teams make the trip to
Austin in hopes of bringing at least 2 state
softball titles to Central Texas. The road to
Austin has been filled with great memories thru hard
work and dedication for all Central Texas teams and
they hope to play 2 more before calling their season
complete. The Super Centex Sports Network will be
right there with them, bringing you all the action
live and via our On Demand replays right here on
SuperCentex.com.
Our championship broadcasts start as
the Mart Lady Panthers take on Blue Ridge at 11:00
AM from McCombs Field in Austin. We will have a
pregame show starting at 10:15 AM. This special
coverage is like none other in the state as Supercentex.com continues to break ground in
bringing you the most comprehensive coverage in
Texas. If you tune into the pregame for the Mart
game you will be able to catch a fun and exciting
production as the Mart Lady Panthers introduce
themselves to you, special interview with Seniors
Mikel-Ann Caddell and Meagan Terry, semi-final game
thoughts from Coach
Darrell Lehrmann,
and listen as Senior pitcher Mikel-Ann Caddell takes

Up next will be the
West Lady Trojans against the defending state
champion Needville Lady Jays. Pre-game is slated
for 6:45 PM with first pitch around 7:30 PM. The
Lady Trojans defeated Liberty Hill winning 2 games
that were presented in an exclusive joint broadcast
by K-MAC Sports and The Super Centex Sports
Network. West Senior pitcher Ashley Anz has had a
tremendous season in the circle leading with a 31-2
record and an amazing 0.84 ERA. Three years removed
from a state tournament appearance, the West seniors
are leading their team onto the field trying to
capture what evaded them in 2007.
Rounding out our
broadcasts Friday morning at 8:30 AM (8:00 pre-game)
are the Robinson Rockettes. The 32-6 Rockettes take
on Paris North Lamar in their first state tournament
appearance since 1999. After demolishing Splendora
in College Station on Thursday, the Rockettes are
playing their best softball of the season peaking at
the right time. Robinson pitcher Molly Cooper has
had her way with opposing teams giving up no more
than 2 hits per outing. With a great defense behind
Cooper, explosive offense at the plate, Robinson
hopes to take care of their early morning opponent
to get them into the final.
Supercentex.com
is the ONLY place you can catch Central Texas State
Tournament Softball. BJ Walters, Remo
Williams, Itsy Cartwright and Dustin Hicks will be
taking over McCombs Field in Austin starting
Thursday brining you all the action.
