What's a Smart Bug?
At select
SuperCentex.com broadcast sites, you can purchase a
Smart Bug listening device to hear our broadcast as
you watch the game or event.
A Smart
Bug is a lightweight audio listening device complete
with an ear piece and is available for purchase
either directly from SuperCentex.com or from the
booster clubs of the schools we broadcast.
How Does
it Work?
The Smart Bug system
is a standalone, onsite broadcast system made up of
a transmitter (usually set up in the press box) that
sends a wireless signal to the Smart Bug receivers
(pictured) in the area allowing crystal clear
audience reception of the SuperCentex.com broadcast.
Where Does
it Work?
Check our broadcast
schedule. If the game you plan to attend has a small
bug icon next to it, your Smart Bug will work at
that game. The Smart Bug will pick up the
broadcasted signal anywhere within a 3,000 foot
radius of the transmitter.
How Can I
Order a Smart Bug?
Unless they're
sold out, you can get a Smart Bug from the booster
clubs at the games where Smart Bugs are being used.
Or you can buy them directly from SuperCentex.com by
emailing SuperCentex.com Co-Owner Henry Witt, III at
henry@supercentex.com.
The Smart Bugs are $20.00 each whether they are
bought through the boosters or directly.
How
do I get them for my games?
If you broadcast
games yourself, you can use the Smart Bug system for
your games and events, too. Contact Charlie Chitwood
at (903) 240-1599 or email him at
charlie@smarbug.com.
And be sure to tell him that you heard about the
Smart Bugs on SuperCentex.com! For more info about
the Smart Bug system, visit
