The Heart of Texas Fellowship of
Christian Athletes (FCA) will
kickoff Super Centex Victory Bowl
week on Wednesday, June 9th.
92 players, 20 cheerleaders, and 10
area head coaches make up this
year’s event representing nearly 60
central Texas high schools.
Making up Bowl week
will be 5 practices, 3 local outreaches, trips to
the Dr. Pepper History Museum and Texas Sports Hall
of Fame, a youth football skills competition, and
most importantly the game.
At the conclusion of the game the Bob
McQueen offensive and defensive MVP’s of the game
will be awarded.
Tickets for the game
are $5 for adults and $3 for students, all tickets
will be sold on game day. Entrance to the game will
begin at 5:00 pm and all fans are encouraged to
enter Waco ISD Stadium through the press box side of
the stadium. Game programs and merchandise will also
be available for purchase.
Boys and Girls aged 9
– 14 are invited to participate in the Youth
Football Skills Competition from 9 am to 11 am at
Waco ISD Stadium. The competition will consist of
punting, passing, kicking, and long-snapping. The
competition will cost $10 per child and include a
game ticket.
