Bosqueville
Bulldogs
Head Coach:
Clint Zander
2009
Record: 6-5 Bi-District DII
Key
Players:
RB Michael Carpenter
QB JT Antis
OL Taylor Barnes
DL Dakota Park
Hit twice
in two years losing their play making QB,
Coach Zander expects "high competition"
for the signal caller position. We
expect Bosqueville to over achieve this
year and take home the district crown
because being consistent as a program
will carry them farther than being
consistent as a player. |

Itasca
Wampus Cats
Head Coach:
Craig Horn
2009
Record: 8-3 Bi-District DII Finalist
Key
Players:
WR Oppie Mayberry
RB Shakeal Mozon
LB Dontrell Thompson
With top
players coming back on the O-Line, Coach
Horn expects to open holes in 2010 just
as they did for Desmond Guy. Not being
able to break over the first round in
the last few years should send a sense
of urgency for the Wampus Cats, their
response this year will tell the tale
for the legacy these Seniors want to
leave behind. |

De Leon
Bearcats
Head Coach:
Jason Ferguson
2009
Record: 7-4 Bi-District Finalist
Key
Players:
RB Austin Koonce
LB Hayden Lewis
DT Matt Lopez
DT Blaine Garcia
With
several all district returners on
defense, the Bearcat secondary will hope
to contain the opposing run and gun
teams in their district. Their ground
attack will need their help as De Leon
relies on the run quite a bit. |

Valley
Mills Eagles
Head Coach:
David Wells
2009
Record: 2-8
Key
Players:
RB Dustin Hubbard
OL Jesse Marquez
QB AJ McFarlane
RB Jake Bebe
A new look Eagle program
can't be more true as new Coach Davis
Wells is remodeling in every sense of
the word. From the kids attitudes to
the locker rooms, Coach Wells and his
new coaching staff are doing some great
things in Valley Mills that they haven't
seen in a long time. With the
remodeling of the coaches office and
dressing rooms the Eagle football team
have seen the changes all summer long as
the turn out for summer workouts have
exceeded the expectations of the Valley
Mills community. Year one of rebuilding
will show great strides for the Eagles
but we still pick them to be on the
outside looking in for the playoffs.
This will do nothing but make the Eagles
hungry to push it over the top in 2011. |

Santo
Wildcats
Head Coach:
Randy Thornton
2009
Record: 2-8
Key
Players:
DL Andrew Power
LB Cy Wallace
DB Daayne Read
DE Brandon Hailey
The
Wildcats have had little success in the
last 15+ years but Coach Randy Thornton
believes that depth and speed will kill
their opponents in 2010. |
